recently completed a kitchen remodel project! It consisted of refinishing the kitchen
cabinets from stain to paint and ceramic tile to subway tile for backsplash. The kitchen
cabinets were a red oak stain to a dark gray color (satin finish) with Sherwin Williams
Oil Enamel Paint! Refinish process consisted of delgossing, sanding, caulking,
cleaning, and masking entire kitchen area off! All Cabinetry (except interiors) were
spray primed and spray painted for smooth finish! Tile backsplash consisted of
removing old tile, installing new backerboard, installing new subway tile on offset
pattern, grout and caulk. Homeowner picked out all tile and paint color itself (somewhat
“retro look” with contrast and blending of colors) and was very pleased with the results!
